Directions to Bedruthan Steps / Carnewas:
This dramatic stretch of north Cornwall coastline is part owned by the National Trust. Very popular with tourists & photographers. Click here for photos of Cornwall (redirects to another website).
If you are travelling by car, access can be found from either;
from Padstow - follow & stay on the B3276 towards Newquay, this is a lovely stretch for a drive along the coast, Carnewas can be found between Porthcothan Bay & Mawgan Porth (approx. 6.5 miles from Padstow).
from Newquay take the A3058 out of the town (towards St Columb), head towards Porth and take the B3276 northwards past Porth and onto Watergate Bay. Here you can follow either road as both will lead onto the B3276. Follow past Mawgan Porth and Bedruthan Steps will be on the left in approximately 1.5 miles from Mawgan Porth.
